Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Dr. Steven Chavez has always been passionate about oral health. His journey began in high school when his father encouraged him to apply for a job at a local orthodontist’s office. Throughout his undergraduate years at Florida International University, Dr. Chavez continued to grow his commitment and education in oral health by working part-time at the orthodontist’s office and becoming certified as an orthodontic assistant. During this time, Dr. Chavez realized dentistry was his true calling. He pursued his dream by attending the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. With a thirst for knowledge, Dr. Chavez remains enthusiastic about continuing education and keeping up with the latest trends in the field to provide his patients with the most comprehensive care possible.
